A sad night, last night...

Our oldest lady, Sharon Tutti (a/k/a Tutti), has been failing over the past few months, and it really accelerated in the past couple weeks.  Our vet found a tumor, which was growing rapidly.

Yesterday, Tutti - who was probably about 19 years old, so there's no gripe there, she certainly lived a long, healthy, happy life - stopped eating.  She wouldn't even eat baby food for us.  And, likely because of the tumor, she had become incontinent and was constantly trying to move her bowels with no success.

And so, the very difficult decision was made to give her help in getting to Rainbow Bridge, where she's met up with her daddy, who passed away about 5 years ago.

RIP, Tutti.  You're with your dad now.  We'll miss you terribly.

This is one of the memorial frames which is available through Frame Your Pet for Rescue and was created with the charity collab created for Angel PAWS by Angel Baby Scraps' designers.

My sympathies go to you on the loss of your friend and kitty, Tutti. :( I realize that this happened a couple of months ago, but I just found your blog and was reading back to some of your earlier posts (and BEAUTIFUL freebies...Thank You SO much!) and saw this entry about making that difficult, but loving, choice to ease the passing of one of our fur-babies.
What a lovely tribute layout you made! :) Tutti had lovely colors and markings (a Calico kitty, if I'm right??!). I like to think that Tutti and my kitties are having fun at the Rainbow Bridge, chasing butterflies by the water's edge...
Hugs to a fellow cat lover,
    Barb :)
