Part of the "Frame Your Pet for Rescue" fundraisers I'm doing for Hope for Animals and Angel PAWS, here's a new customizable frame available using "Rescued and Loved" by Sweet Pea Designs (many thanks to Sweet Pea Designs for this wonderful kit, which was created to raise funds for the Meow March held by her local SPCA).
I'll be at Angel PAWS' annual Pawcasso Gala this Saturday (April 14th) at St. Anthony's of Padua in Port Reading, NJ with samples and information on this new frame, but you can read all about it here NOW!
The cost of the frame is $10, with half going to either Hope for Animals or Angel PAWS (your choice, or you can choose to split the donation), with printing available at an additional cost.
Here's a preview of the kit itself:
And here are a couple of sample frames I've made up, featuring kitties that we had at the vet practice where I work, and who are no longer with us.
Hee hee, and here's one with an extreme close-up of my girl, Pumpkin:
And of Jaime, a client's cat who I would transport weekly for sub-q fluids therapy:
And you know what? The kit was created for cats but there is NO reason at all why it can't be used to create a frame for your dog or hamster or bird - we would just use the non-cat-specific elements, that's all. So don't let the kitty theme put you off ordering one of these frames for your non-feline pet!
If you're in the greater Woodbridge, NJ area, come on out to the Pawcasso Gala this Saturday and see all the "Frame Your Pet for Rescue" selections in person. If you're not...go here to read all about them!
To make a donation to Angel PAWS, visit their website. Monetary donations are accepted through PayPal (the link is about halfway down the page), and direct donations of food, litter, etc., are gratefully accepted at the shelter.
